Review Detail

When I saw the title of the movie, I formed an opinion and never intended to actually see it.  When out with friends and looking for something to do on a dreary day, this was the only movie available during our time restrictions, so I agreed to see it.  I was right from the beginning.  The story is about a guy named Ben Stone, played by Seth Rogan, who goes through his life living off injury compensation funds and some work on a celebrity pornographic website.  He is immature and has no real goals in life.  He meets Alison Scott, an ambitious career woman, they get drunk, have a one night stand and she finds out that she is pregnant.  Instead of dropping the immature, clueless guy , Alison decides to try to make the best of the situation, which is not easy, and Ben, giving him credit, tries very hard to mature and become a good father.  The lines are sometimes very crude and the story not very exciting or interesting.  To me, it was boring and senseless but maybe to kids in high school and college it will have appeal.
