The plot might be a somewhat predictable, but it is sheer joy to watch Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson together. A romance for the older set is always a good thing. They are both wonderfully real and believable . There is such a poignancy to their offbeat encounter and how their relationship unfolds . A somewhat unlikely pair that you find yourself rooting for. It is bittersweet, and optimistic and totally satisfying .
