Review Detail

Rocky is a classic "go to" on a rainy day when you want adventure, a great story and memories to come alive.  I still remember when I first saw Rocky in 1976 and have watched it periodically many times since.  My grandchildren are now enjoying it with me, which is a real treat and an excuse to see it again and again.  Sylvester Stallone was new to me then, as was Talia Shire and I loved their growing relationship in the story, as well as the support characters, Paulie, played by Burt Young and  Rocky's manager , Burgess Meredith, along with his major opponent Carl Weathers.  Great cast, great music and a wonderful uplifting story.  I am sure to see it many more times to come.
