Fools Rush In is a simple, sweet romantic comedy starring Matthew Perry, as Alex Whitman, who plays a New Yorker who is sent to Las Vegas to oversee a construction project. There he meets Isabel Fuentes, played by Salma Hayek, a Mexican girl. They have a one night romance and it is not until about 3 months later that he learns that she is pregnant. They come to realize, early on, that there are great cultural differences between them but, as the sweet story continues, they work out these issues and Alex, who is on an upward career path, realizes he does not want the life that he is used to in NY, but wants to be with Isabel in the beautiful wide open Nevada.....after all, he sees all the "signs" that come his way. Not great acting, not a great story, not great cinematography or sound track, although a collection of good songs from the past sung by Wayne Newton and Elvis Pressley, but a sweet, romantic, lovely story to watch and enjoy with the entire family.
